Will probably be editing, changing, removing, or adding to the list as I go along.
Deity List:
Kefka - Chaotic evil god of the arcane, destruction, and madness.
Ifrit - Unaligned god of fire and war.
Shiva - Unaligned goddess of ice and beauty.
Bahamut - Called the Platinum Dragon, Bahamut is the Lawful Good god of justice, protection, nobility, and honor. Lawful good knights often revere him, and metallic dragons worship him as the first of their kind. Monarchs are crowned in his name.
Ramuh - Good god of lightning and knowledge.
Gaea - Good goddess of nature and earth.
All I can think of for now. Any suggestions would be lovely. _________________

Here are some suggestions.
The four fiends from the first game (and a few other games)
-Kraken: Evil god of water
-Tiamat: Chaotic Evil goddess of dragons, sister of Bahamut
-Marilith: Chaotic Evil goddess of fire
-Lich: Evil god of earth and undead
Well if you are going to be having summons as deities you could also include
-Odin: Unaligned god of destruction and death
-Leviathan: Unaligned god of water
-Carbuncle: Good god of protection
-Phoenix: Good god of fire and rebirth
-Kirin: Good goddess of healing and regeneration
-Cait Sith: Unaligned god of trickery
-Fenrir: Unaligned god of earth
-Alexander: Lawful Good god of healing and law
-Hades: Evil god of death and sickness
-Ark: Unaligned god of darkness and destruction
-Madeen: Good goddess of good and protection
These are just a few suggestions based off of the summons of the many FF games. They are the ones that I felt could be easily adapted into deities and also appear in more than one game. |

Excellent, thanks! I'll incorporate some of these. _________________

Well, if you're doing Kefka, maybe include the other heroes/villains of the FF world. Maybe not as gods, but maybe as avatars/helpers for Cosmos/Chaos (assuming you think Dissidia counts for this) from each of the worlds.
Only reason I bring this up is because Kefka looks out of place among the summons. Just my personal thoughts on this. Tiamat is another summon of sorts (a corrupted GF in FFVIII), if you want the rival to Bahamut. Personally, I'd look through each of the games and pick a summon or two from them. FFI has Bahamut, FFII Leviathan, etc. since otherwise, you could wind up with a huge number of deities.
All of this is obviously my opinion though, feel free to do what you want. I'm just glad someone has taken it upon themselves to work on fourth edition. |
